Prepare an Android phone before it gets lost

Check Find Hub before the phone is lost, and make sure losing the phone would not also remove the only way to complete two-step verification.

Do this now

Confirm the Android phone is signed in to the intended Google Account.
Review Find Hub and location settings using Google’s current instructions.
Review two-step verification backup methods because the missing phone may normally receive verification prompts or codes.
Store any backup method securely outside Next Time Home.
